Settings reference
Preferences use dotted keys. SoftAP and USB share the same names. Change a value, then save so it survives reboot. SoftAP Display / Network screens save after you confirm; USB uses an explicit save step.

Scene timing (playlist)
These keys drive how the sign shares time between idle clock and countdown when countdown is the base preference. SoftAP exposes the common knobs; advanced siblings are USB / export. Full behavior:Playlist and scene timing.
