Local NWS forecast at a glance — temperature, conditions, and near-term outlook.

Routine atmospheric weather for U.S. home points — not hazard alerts. Weather pulls the official National Weather Service point forecast for where you live and paints it as ambient matrix chrome over your configured underlay.

Choose one or more presentations:

  • Weather Now — hero temperature, short conditions, and today’s hi/lo
  • Weather Periods — current period plus the next one or two (Tonight, Tuesday, …)
  • Weather Daily — compact Mon 92/77 strip for today and the next few days

This complements NWS Alerts: alerts are hazard chrome and Condition-tier interrupts; Weather is everyday forecast content for the base playlist. Neither replaces the other.

Data: NWS API on api.weather.gov — no API key. Forecasts refresh on a bounded schedule (default 45 minutes). Attribution: forecasts and point data are from NOAA/NWS; credit NOAA/NWS in product materials.

Outside NWS coverage or without a precise home point (GPS or manual location), Weather scenes stay ineligible or show honest Set location chrome — no invented numbers.
