NWS alerts

Official watches, warnings, and advisories for your home point.

Supplemental weather-hazard awareness for U.S. home points: when the National Weather Service issues a watch, warning, or advisory that covers where you live, the sign surfaces the official event type and severity on the shared alert chrome. At Warning and above, hazard scenes can dominate the playlist while the idle clock keeps a guaranteed floor so the matrix still rotates.

This is not the Emergency Alert System or Wireless Emergency Alerts. B0rd has no audio — a visual-only alert at 3am wakes nobody. Treat the board as supplemental awareness, never the sole warning channel. Follow local officials and other official channels for evacuation and life-safety decisions.

NWS Alerts is part of the B0rd app lineup and composes with Hurricane Alert on the shared Condition tier — neither suppresses the other at landfall.
